Because much of the Netherlands is below sea level, our country has a lot of experience with water management. But Dutch cities are also already working a lot on climate adaptation in other areas: the Netherlands has a Delta Plan for Spatial Adaptation, cities do climate stress tests, there is a national Climate Impact Atlas and we can estimate future financial damage with the help of the Climate Damage Atlas.
